FAMILY SERVICES
Where addiction is present, the entire family is impacted. The family
structure is also a primary vehicle for recovery. At Central Valley Recovery
Services, Inc. we involve the family in alcohol and other drug treatment as
appropriate to support the rehabilitation of the individual in recovery.
We provide orientation and one family support meeting on site weekly.
Safe Zones is for children 5-12 years of age. This group meets weekly at the
same time as family services. Safe Zones is a unique and vital component of
our family recovery program. Children provide support to and for each
other, learn survival skills, and share their experience, strength and hope.
The children build self esteem and learn that they are not responsible for
their parents’ use of alcohol and/or other drugs.
